Rhian Ramos, Sam Verzosa Put Wedding Plans on Hold Until After Elections


Celebrity couple Rhian Ramos and Sam Verzosa are holding off wedding discussions for now as Verzosa focuses on his Manila mayoral bid in the upcoming midterm elections.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Ramos jokingly dismissed any immediate wedding talks, saying there hasn’t even been a proposal yet.

“Proposal muna! Wala pang proposal. May nakikita ba kayo?” (“Proposal first! There’s no proposal yet. Do you see anything?”) she teased, showing her hands to the camera.

Verzosa confirmed that while a proposal is in the works, he wants it to be a complete surprise and will only pursue it once the elections are over.

“I will not use the proposal just to gain publicity during the campaign. That’s not who I am,” he stressed.

When asked if she expects a grand proposal, Ramos admitted that while she doesn’t require one, she believes Verzosa will go all out.

“I don’t need one, but I expect it because I know him. He’s a big theatrical person, a showman.”

For now, the couple remains focused on Verzosa’s political journey, with wedding plans to follow later.
