EJ Obiena Finishes 8th in Mondo Classic in Sweden


Filipino pole vaulter and Olympian EJ Obiena placed eighth in the Mondo Classic at the IFU Arena in Sweden on Friday (Philippine time).

Obiena cleared 5.50 and 5.65 meters with ease but failed to surpass 5.80 meters in three attempts.

Top Finishers:

🏆 Mondo Duplantis (Sweden) – 6.05m

🥈 Emmanouil Karalis (Greece) – 6.00m

🥉 Sam Kendricks (USA) – 5.90m

Obiena recently announced his withdrawal from the World Athletics Indoor Championships to focus on the upcoming outdoor season.
