Andrea Brillantes on Daring ‘Batang Quiapo’ Role: ‘It Was a Personal Decision’


Andrea Brillantes opened up about her bold role in Batang Quiapo, revealing that she prayed and consulted loved ones before accepting the challenge. The actress made headlines after a teaser showed her engaging in an intimate scene with Jake Cuenca, who is 16 years her senior.

“Mas daring siya compared sa iba kong mga roles. Mas level up siya. Mas mature siya,” Brillantes shared in an interview on TV Patrol.

The actress emphasized that her decision to take on a more mature and physically intimate role was a personal choice.

“I talked to my mom and friends, I asked for advice, and I also prayed about it. This is a new path for me, and I know that I will be taken care of in Batang Quiapo.”

A New Chapter in Her Career
